These pretty little studs is made of acrylic plastic - refers to a family of synthetic, or man-made, plastic materials. They are not glass or crystals and are very durable but in "person" they look more like glass to me. They are in the form of concave look, pretty much as you can see it comes in six different colors with mixture of gold dust in it. They are super light weight and hence will not weight down your ears when worn. Backing of studs is plastic stick and comes with rubber backings for all day comfort. I really loves these dainty studs and I have actually kept a pair for myself. =)
